Zimbabwe’s tremendous bowling keeps Bangladesh on 191 all out|

Zimbabwe’s pace bowling coach Charl Langeveldt pulled the plug on his bowlers’ praise after they made a big bang on the first day of the Test series against Bangladesh. Bangladesh was all out for just 191 runs, and Zimbabwe reached 67 runs without losing a single wicket, which is Zimbabwe’s name on Day 1.
Zimbabwe Bowlers’ Discipline Game
Charl Langeveldt said in a press conference: “In the first session we were a little short and did not make the batsmen play much. But I told the boys to bowl some tight overs without giving them any runs. We took Shanto’s wicket and that’s where the collapse started.”
He mentioned: Victor Nyauchi, who took 2 important edges. Blessing Muzarabani, whose aggression and bounce stunned the Bangladesh batsmen.
“I call these mental errors. Sometimes a player’s shout is never wrong, there it is important to bowl aggressively and hit the proper areas.”
Mental errors betrayed Bangladesh
Charl Langeveldt said that Bangladesh’s batting collapse was not just a result of technique but a result of mental lapse.
“I call it mental errors. Sometimes a player’s shot is not wrong, but his judgment is wrong. For example, Shanto played a shot on a cross-seam delivery which bounced a lot but was in his scoring zone, but played the shot at the wrong time.”
Mistake was also admitted in Bangladesh Camp
Bangladesh coach Mohammed Salahuddin also showed concern about batting.
“We made some tactical and mental mistakes. Players got out after getting set. This was the result of not following the routine. We have to work on how to face every delivery.”
And he also admitted that: Both batting and bowling were disappointing. The team is now working on mentality. The players are motivated for self improvement.

Talking about the cricket system
Salahuddin said about the cricket structure of Bangladesh: “The cricket system cannot depend on just a few players. The level of challenge has to be increased, whether it is A-level cricket or tricky. The wickets in Premier League behave differently, the game here is completely different.”
“We have limited resources, and it will take time to bring in new openers. We have to find a solution quickly.”
Bangladesh – 191 all out (61 overs)
Zimbabwe – 67/0 (Brain Bennett 40, Ben Curran 17) navad. Zimbabwe trail by only 124 runs with all wickets in hand.
