Cristiano Ronaldo’s team AI Nassr had to face a crushing defeat in the semi-final of the Asian Champions League 2024. In the match on Wednesday, Japan’s Kawasaki Frontale defeated AI Nassr 3-2, after which it reached the ACL final for the first time. On the other hand, Ronaldo has so far failed to win a single major trophy in Saudi Arabia in 2.5 years.

In the 10th minute of the match, Tatsuya Ito scored a powerful volley to give Kawasaki an early lead. AI Nassr made the score 1-1 in the 27th minute with a deflected shot by Sadio Mane. And Ronaldo tried an overhead kick and a powerful header, but the header hit the goalpost and the second shot went wide, an unlucky moment for Ronaldo.
Kawasaki’s Game was Strong

Ayman Yahya also scored a goal in the injury time and the score became 3-2, but Ronaldo and Jhon Duran missed golden chances in the last moments. Ronaldo had 2 short saves and once he could not even touch the ball properly.
Kawasaki faced Ahli in the final
Kawasaki Frontale will now play the final against AI Ahli on Saturday. The interesting thing is that Kawasaki Frontale won the match with only 1 foreign player, while AI Nassr had 7 star foreign players.
