An emotional video of late actor Irrfan Khan’s son and talented actor Babil Khan recently went viral on social media. In the video, Babil looked quite upset, with tears in his eyes and speaking from his heart, he talked about feeling alienated in the film industry. This video was later deleted, but by then the clip had gone viral.
In the viral video, Babil named many celebrities such as: Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Arjun Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, Adarsh Gourav and Arijit Singh. Some of his words, like “Bollywood is so F****ed. Bollywood is so, so rude” were taken negatively by many people. But now Babu’s team and family have issued a joint statement saying that the video has been “wrongly interpreted”.
What was said in the statement?
“Babil Khan has earned love and support for his work and his mental health journey. Just like any person faces difficult days at times, this was one such day for him. We are happy to know that he is fine and will feel better soon.”
He clarified: “Babil is genuinely appreciating those artists who are doing some real and passionate work in today’s cinema industry.”
