Barcelona made it to the semi-finals thanks to a hat-trick – Dortmund’s dream came true|

The quarter-final match of Champions League 2025 was full of drama. The match took place in Germany where Borussia Dortmund won 3-1. But Barcelona qualified for the semi-finals with an appreciable score of 5-3.

Guirassy hit a hat-trick, but it was not enough

Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy hit a hat-trick and it seemed that Dortmund would do a miracle. He scored his first goal from a penalty in the 10th minute, when Wojciech Szczesny fouled Pascal | Gross inside the box. Gross also made another hole but was declared offside.

Dortmund’s great start, but Barca made a comeback

Dortmund built pressure as soon as the second half started, and after a corner kick Guirassy scored another goal through a header. But after that the flow of the game changed and Fermin Lopez crossed the ball which accidentally became an own goal from Dortmund’s Ramy Bensebaini.

Barca regained control

Barca kept more control of the ball, but forwards like Raphinha and Lamine Yamal could not create space, and Lewandowski remained alone in the attack. Even after this, Ronald Araujo’s clearance went straight to Guirassy from where he completed the hat trick.
