Bengaluru FC made a big mark in the Semifinal by defeating FC Goa 2-0|

Bengaluru FC showed its might by defeating FC Goa 2-0 in the first leg semifinal of the Indian Super League (ISL). The match was played in Bengaluru on Wednesday and the Blues are now in advantage with a 2-0 aggregate in the second-leg match.
Although Bengaluru FC had only 42.2% ball possession, their attack looked more dangerous as they took 5 on target shots.
First crucial moment of the match – Udanta Singh’s attack
In the 27th minute, Odei Onaindia received a free kick inside the Bengaluru FC box and passed it to Udanta Singh via a header. Udanta hit a dinked shot which got blocked near the goal. This was a big warning sign for FC Goa.

In the 42nd minute, Edgar Mendez hit a tag cross which should have reached Adam Williams. But FC Goa defender Sandesh Jhingan accidentally put the ball into his own goal and Bengaluru FC went ahead 1-0.

Just 6 minutes after the second half, Williams put a perfect through ball for Namgyal Bhutia. Bhutia hit a low cross for Mendez, who put the ball in the bottom right corner of the goalpost with an easy tap-in.

In the 76th minute, Aakash Sangwan hit a powerful cross, but Onaindia’s header went way above the goal. In the 83rd minute, Boris Singh hit a dangerous shot, but Gurpreet Singh Sandhu made an outstretched save to stop Goa.
