GATE 2025 Result: IIT Roorkee has released the result!|

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has officially declared the result of GATE 2025. Those who have given this exam can check their result on the official website — gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
GATE 2025 exam was held on 1,2,15, and 16 February, in which there were a total of 30 test papers. The provisional answer key was released on 27 February, and candidates were given a chance to raise objections till 1 March 2025.
There are 3 types of questions in the exam:
Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
Multiple Select Questions (MSQs)
Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions
These questions are designed to test the knowledge and problem solving skills of the candidates.
GATE Scorecard Details
GATE scorecard will have the following important details:
Candidate’s name and photo: For identification.
GATE 2025 Registration Number: Unique ID given on registration.
Exam Paper and Code: Code of the subject attempted.
Marks Obtained: Score obtained out of 100 (raw or normalized).
GATE Score: Final score based on performance.
Qualifying Marks: Minimum required marks for the paper.
Validity: The scorecard will be valid for 3 years.
All India Rank (AIR): The middle rank of all the candidates in that paper.
How is the score calculated?
The calculation of GATE exam scores depends on the exam format:
In single-session exams, the score is calculated based on the raw marks.
In multi-session exams, the raw marks are normalized for fairness.
The final GATE score is calculated based on normalized or raw marks and qualifying marks.
