GT vs RR: Sai Sudharsan and Prasidh Krishna’s good performance gave Gujarat its fourth win|

Gujarat Titans (GT) have extended their winning streak in IPL 2025 when GT defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 58 runs. This was GT’s 4th consecutive win and with this win they have come on top of the points table.

GT made 217/6 – Sai Sudharsan’s best performance

The match started with RR winning the toss and choosing to bowl first. But GT’s batsman Sai Sudharsan again did wonders. He scored 82 runs in 53 balls which was his 3rd fifty plus score of the season.

Josh Buttler and M Shahrukh Khan also made important contributions to assist them. And in the last 2 overs Rahul Tewatia and Rashid Khan added 30 runs to take GT’s score to 217.

Archer’s comeback and Sudharsan’s aggression

Jofra Archer bowled very well in this match. He stumped Shubman Gill and hit Sai Sudharsan with a fierce bouncer. But Sudharsan dominated the fast bowlers by batting fearlessly – and played good shorts, ramp shots, drives, cuts shorts.

RR’s chase – a blow right in the beginning

RR’s batting was not good from the beginning. Siraj and Arshad Khan took early wickets in the powerplay. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Nitish Rana got out lightly.

Sanju Samson made 41 runs and Shimron Hetmyer made 52 runs and fought back, but RR could not chase.
