They defeated West Indies Masters by 6 wickets in the grand finale, reminding us of the golden era of cricket. India Masters, led by Sachin Tendulkar, displayed a clinical all-round performance and defeated Brian Lara’s West Indies Masters in front of 50,000 fans at the SVNS International Stadium. West Indies Masters made a score of 148/7, chasing which India Masters started with an opening partnership of 67 runs between Tendulkar (25) and Ambati Rayudu (74). Tendulkar made 25 runs in 18 balls but Tino Best’s sharp silverery ended his innings.
