Inter Milan has made it to the semi-final of Champions League after a tremendous match, on Wednesday night they played a 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich, but reached the next round by winning 4-3 in aggregate. Now Inter will face Barcelona in the semi-finals.
Rain, storm and tremendous drama
The match was held in San Siro Stadium, Milan where heavy rain and wind increased the difficulties for both the teams. Despite this, Inter showed that they can perform even under pressure. Harry Kane scored an equaliser for Bayern in the 52nd minute. Then in the 58th minute Lautaro Martinez scored a stunning goal and in the 76th minute Eric Dier scored for Bayern.

Lautaro said after the match: “We never give up. Today we have shown that we can do anything – with heart, mind and passion.”
He also said: “If you are not playing with the intention of winning, then you should not play this type of game.”
Treble hopes still on
Inter Milan are still in the race for a historic treble – the one they won in 2010 under Jose Mourinho:
They lead Serie A by 3 points.
They have a semi-final in the Italian Cup against AC Milan.
And now they are in the Champions League semi-finals.

Thuram and Calhanoglu made good moves in the first half but couldn’t find a goal. Kane scored a brilliant goal but was the first to put the ball into his own goalpost. Pavard hit a solid header against his former club. Kane took another chance in the stoppage tie, but Inter keeper Sommer saved it.
