IPL 2025 Auction LIVE: Rishabh Pant Steals the Spotlight, Joins Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for a Record Rs 27 Crore
In a headline-grabbing moment, Rishabh Pant made history by joining the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) with a record-breaking bid of Rs 27 crore. Shreyas Iyer briefly held the top spot with his Rs 26.75 crore move to Punjab Kings. The third-most expensive buy was the all-rounder Venkatesh Iyer, whom the defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) bought at a handsome sum to retain him. Indian bowlers fetched handsome sums as well with both Yuzvendra Chahal and Arshdeep Singh securing Rs 18 crore deals with PBKS.
