Delhi Capitals: Way to Playoffs
DC has 3 matches left which are against PBKS, GT, and MI. If DC wins 3 matches then qualification is confirmed with 19 points, if they win 2 matches then they have a strong chance for playoffs and if they win 1 match then there will be a tight situation for DC.
How Crucial is the MI vs GT match?
GT has the remaining matches against MI, DC, LSG and CSK. If GT wins all the matches then they will be on top with 22 points.
And MI has the remaining matches against GT, PBKS and DC. If MI also wins all the matches then top 2 will be almost confirmed with 20 points.
And if both GT and MI stay at 18 points then also playoffs are almost confirmed. Because MI and GT winning will mean that PBKS or DC’s points will be limited. And if MI or GT wins only one match then they will need results in favour of other teams. MI’s NRR is +1.274 which gives them an edge in a close race.

SRH, RR, CSK are officially out. RCB is in safe zone. The real ruckus of top 4 race is left between MI, GT, PBKS and DC. MI vs GT match has now become the deciding contest of the season. DC will need to remain consistent, and will also need some luck.
