IPL 2025 Playoff Race’s GT vs DC match|
The double header match of IPL 2025 was quite thrilling. After the victory of GT and PBKS, both the teams have qualified for the playoffs. RCB has also qualified, whereas KKR has been officially eliminated from the tournament due to the washout on Saturday.

Gujarat Titans Qualified
Now GT’s remaining matches are against LSG and CSK at home ground. GT is on top and if it wins the remaining two matches, it can become the table topper. If GT wins one and loses one match, then it needs PBKS or RCB to lose one match.
Punjab Kings Qualified
PBKS’s match is against DC and MI at home ground. After 2014, Punjab Kings have entered the playoffs for the first time. If it wins both the remaining matches, then it can have a chance in the top 2 but for that GT or RCB will have to lose one match or Punjab will have to get eliminated by RCB in NRR.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru Qualified
RCB’s remaining matches are against SRH and LSG. After Sunday’s results, RCB has also qualified for the playoffs. The scenario of top 2 finish is similar to that of PBKS. If one wins, then both PBKS and GT can go ahead of them. But both matches are against their relatively weak opponents.
Mumbai Indians Playoffs’ strongest contender
MI’s remaining matches are against DC and PBKS. If MI wins both matches, then playoffs are confirmed. But if they win against DC and LSG continues its one match, then also their qualification will be confirmed. If MI loses to DC and wins to PBKS, then Delhi can get ahead of them but whoever wins their next match. If both lose then there is direct elimination. MI’s NRR is +1.156 which is the best. If both matches are won then there is a chance of being in the top 2 as well.

Delhi Capitals Must win situation
DC’s matches are against MI and PBKS. DC’s form is not good right now, they have lost 5 out of the last 8 matches. If they lose to MI then their tournament is over. If they win both matches then they can go up to 17 points, whereas MI and LSG are in better form than them.
Lucknow Super Giants – Still alive, but tough road
LSG’s remaining matches are against SRH, GT and RCB. But LSG has to win all three matches to make 16 points. But at the same time we have to pray that DC and I don’t go ahead by 16 points. Their NRR is -0.469, so if there is a tie then it is almost certain that they will stay behind. That’s why they need big wins.
