IPL 2025 Points Table Update: Punjab knocked CSK out of Playoffs Race, Dhoni Army suffers second continuous season|
CSK is now out of the IPL 2025 race. The team captained by MS Dhoni had to face another shocking defeat, this time at the hands of PBKS in Chepauk. This match is their fifth consecutive defeat and their elimination in two continuous seasons has become a new low point.
Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer and Prabhsimran Singh scored tremendous fifties to win the match for the team, but in bowling Yuzvendra Chahal took 4 wickets which also included a hat-trick. From CSK’s side Sam Curran played an innings of 88 runs but his hard work went in vain. Result is that Punjab defeated CSK by 4 wickets and have come in 2nd position in the points table.
