On 15 April, Punjab Kings hosted Kolkata Knight Riders at Mullanpur Stadium for match 32 of IPL 2025. In this match, PBKS had to drop two big players – Lockie Ferguson and Marcus Stoinis due to injuries.
Entry of these players
Xavier Bartlett replaced Forguson and Josh Inglis came in place of Stoinis. And this match became Josh Inglis’ IPL debut.

Inglis’ base price was Rs 2 crore, PBKS bought him for Rs 2.60 crore. Sunrisers Hyderabad also came in the auction for him but PBKS won the bidding.

Josh Inglis made his international debut for Australia in 2022, since then he has played in all three formats (Test, ODI, T20I) for Australia. He has scored 706 runs in 29 T20 matches, which includes 2 centuries.
