In match 48 of IPL, DC and KKR had a fierce spin battle. In the middle of the first innings of the match, the official website of IPL conducted a poll in which fans were asked which team has the better spin attack? On one side were DC’s Axar and Duldeep, while on the other side were KKR’s Varul and Sunil Narain. The vote was 50-50 till the mid-innings break.

First Innings: DC’s Comeback, but KKR had a Big Score

KKR’s top order gave a great start in the PowerPlay, scoring 79/1 in 6 overs, but DC’s spinners pulled the game back and restricted KKR to 204, which was a good score.

Second Innings: KKR Spinners had no answer

When DC came to bat, Axar Patel and Faf du Plessis brought the team to a strong position of 136/3. But then Narine and Varun showed magic. Sunil Narine took 3 wickets and gave 29 runs and Varun Chakravarthy took 2 wickets and slowed down DC’s pace. The result was that DC was reduced from 136/3 to 160/8 and KKR won by 4 runs.
