Malayalam rapper Vedan arrested: Ganja and Rs 9.5 lakh cash recovered from his house|

Kochi’s Hill Palace police arrested popular Malayalam rapper Vedan whose real name is Hirandas Murali along with 8 people. Police recovered 6 gm Ganja, some mobile phones and Rs 9.5 lakh cash from his flat.
Police said that rapper Vedan and his team were under surveillance for some days. This flat is their practice zone where they used to prepare for shows. When police raided, the Ganja was kept on the table. According to the police:

“They have confessed that Ganja was being used. And Rs 9.5 lakh cash has also been found, which they say was the payment for a show, which was received in cash and was brought to be distributed among the team. This matter will be investigated.”
Legal action will be taken after his medical test.
This case has come to light after the recent drug bust in which hybrid Ganja worth Rs 2 crore was recovered. Christina and her partner Feroz were arrested in that case. This morning, actors Shine Tom Chacko and Sreenath Bhasi also appeared before the Kerala Excise Department, where they were questioned in the hybrid ganja case.
