Matt Henry becomes second-fastest New Zealand bowler to take 150 ODI wickets, surpasses Hadlee, Southee

Matt Henry of New Zealand marked an important milestone of 150 ODI wickets as he was in action during the third and final game of the series against Sri Lanka on January 11. He bowled outstandingly with 4 wickets for 55 runs from his 10 overs as his side totally dominated the last game.

This marks Henry as the second fastest New Zealand bowler to achieve 150 ODI wickets, surpassing legends like Richard Hadlee and Tim Southee. His 150th came in the final over of the Sri Lankan innings at Eden Park, Auckland, when he dismissed Janith Liyanage.

Henry attained this mark in 83 innings and becomes the second-best behind Trent Boult who accomplished it in 81 innings. He also comes seventh-fastest in bowlers around the globe to get to 150 ODI wickets with Mitchell Starc being the first who had managed this at 77 innings.
