Lionel Messi once again showed his class as he led Inter Miami to a convincing 4-1 win over New York Red Bulls. Played at Chase Stadium, Miami broke their last 3-match losing streak, which also included a 5-1 win in the CONCACAF Champions Cup semifinal against Vancouver Whitecaps.

And in the 67th minute, Messi scored with a left-footed finish after playing a toe with Segovia.

Eastern Conference Standings Update

Inter Miami has come in 4th position. Columbus Crew, who are on top in the East with 24 points, defeated Charlotte 4-2. Philadelphia Union also continued their form and defeated Montreal 2-1.
