Mukesh Kumar’s 4 wicket haul proved amazing, Delhi Capitals defeated Lucknow Super Giants by 8 wickets|

In this amazing match played at Ekana Stadium, Mukesh Kumar’s bowling turned the game around for Delhi Capitals (DC). Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) had a good start but could only score 159/6. And DC won in just 17.5 overs. With this win, DC strengthened its second position in the points table.
Turning point of the game – DC’s comeback in middle overs
LSG had scored 82/0 in 9 overs, but in the next 6 overs DC made a tremendous comeback, taking only 3 fours and 4 wickets. DC also started slow at first, but after that they increased the pace and between 10-15 overs DC hit only 2 fours, but changed the direction of the match by hitting 5 sixes. DC hit a total of 9 sixes in the innings while LSG hit only 3.

Axar bowled his 4 consecutive overs but did not get a wicket. Markaram scored a half century but then DC started taking wickets. Pooran got chopped on Starc’s ball and Marsh got clean bowled on Mukesh’s over. Abdul Samad and Miller batted which broke the momentum.

Badoni hit boundaries but Mukesh Kumar got him out and also got Rishabh Pant out on zero. Kuldeep did not take any wickets but Mukesh’s 4 wickets stopped LSG below 160.

DC maintained their pace even after boundary less overs. Porel hit Bishoni for a six and made his first fifty of this session. Sahul also hit sixes. When Porel got out, Axar kept the momentum by hitting two sixes against Bishnoi.
