About the National Science Olympiad (NSO)
The SOF NSO is the academic competition that conducts for students who are of classes 1 through 12. It checks upon the scientific rationale, logical sense, and solution-based aptitudes of the student. In fact, Olympiad is formulated considering the NEP to polish their critical and thinking faculties in them and get themselves ready for any potential challenges ahead of them.
Eligibility criteria for NSO
Level-1:
Open to students from classes 1–12 studying in SOF-recognized schools. Students must appear for the Olympiad for their respective class levels.
Level 2:
Open to students from classes 3–12 who qualify from Level 1. Only the top 5% of performers in each class from the Level 1 exam get qualified for Level 2. There is no Level 2 for classes 1 and 2.
