- Health authorities say the symptoms of JN.1 are similar to those of earlier Omicron variants:

- Fever
- Runny or blocked nose
- Dry cough
- Headache
- Fatigue
- Loss of taste or smell
- Some patients have experienced more severe fatigue than before. The good news is that most cases are mild, and people recover at home with rest and hydration.

Doctors say that if you feel like you have the flu:
