Rohit did wonders, Boult-Chahar made a bow – Mumbai Indians’ tremendous victory over Sunrisers|

Mumbai Indians (MI) gave another brilliant performance and defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 7 wickets at their home ground. In this match played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, MI stopped SRH at just 143/8 and then chasing, won the match in 26 balls itself.
SRH had a painful start – 5 wickets fell at 35
The beginning of the match itself became a nightmare for SRH. Trent Boult and Deepak Chahar set the fire, both took 2 wickets each to give SRH a 4-wicket total in just 24 runs in the Powerplay, the lowest powerplay total of the season. Heinrich Klassen took SRH to 143/8 with 71 runs in 44 balls and Impact Player Abhinav Manohar took 43 runs in 37 balls.
Klassen and Manohar gave some momentum in the last overs of SRH, but Bumrah got Klassen out with a full toss on the last ball of the 19th over. Then Boult took 2 wickets in the 20th over.
Rohit Sharma is back in form
The story of MI’s chase was about Rohit Sharma’s class and Suryakumar Yadav’s finishing. Rohit scored 70 runs in this match by scoring back to back fifties. He also handled an experienced bowler like Pat Cummins very well. The score in the powerplay was 56/1.
Even after Rohit’s dismissal, MI needed only 14 runs in 32 balls, and there Pw Surya came and finished the match with 40 runs in 19 balls.
