SBI Clerk Prelim Result 2025: Mains Exam Dates

According to the latest notification of SBI, SBI Clerk Mains Exam will be held on 10 April 2025 and 12 April 2025. Call letters for candidates who clear the prelims exams will be issued by 2 April 2025.

What will be the cut off marks?

The cut off marks of SBI Clerk Prelims are different for each state and category. According to previous years, the cut off for General category can be between 70-80 marks, while the cut off for reserved categories is a little less.

What will happen after clearing SBI Prelims?

The selection process of SBI Clerk takes place in three stages. Candidates who will clear the Prelims will have to appear for the Mains Exam.

SBI Clerk Final Selection Process

For the final selection of SBI Clerk, aggregate marks of Mains Exam will be considered. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of performance in Mains Exam.

General/Financial Awareness
General English
Quantitative Aptitude
Reasoning Ability & Compute Aptitude

After clearing the Mains Exam, document verification process will be conducted. Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of performance in Mains exam.

Is there negative marking in SBI Prelims Exam?

Yes, there is negative marking in SBI Prelims exam. 1 mark is given for every correct answer, but 1/4th (0.25 marks) negative marking is done for every wrong answer.

SBI Clerk Prelims exam was conducted on 22,27,28 February and 1 March 2025. Total exam was of 100 marks and duration was of 1 hour.
