Final Day of Swimming at the 2024 Paris Olympics
The last day of swimming events at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris is on Sunday, August 4. The exciting action at the pool is coming to an end.
There are four events happening on Sunday. These include the men’s 1500 meter freestyle final and the women’s 4×100 medley relay final, among others.
Most of this year’s swimming events were held at La Défense Arena’s Olympic swimming pool. Organizers also gave the green light for the men’s and women’s triathlons to go ahead on Wednesday after water tests on the Seine River showed lower levels of bacteria. The men’s triathlon was originally set for Tuesday but was moved to Wednesday because the river failed water quality tests.
