Special Selection Camp in Karnataka – Opportunity for Sports Schools and Hostels|

The Youth Empowerment and Sports Department of Karnataka has organized a special selection camp from where students will be selected for the State level selection camp. Admission will be given through this in 2 residential sports schools and 32 sports hostels of the state and all this is a part of the vision of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah ji.

Which class students can apply?

Class 5, class 8 age below 14 years and I PU 1st year Pre University age 14 years.

What is available in these schools?

The students who will be selected will get: Free boarding and lodging, Scientific sorts training and Sports equipment & uniform along with Travel allowance and daily allowance. This is a complete support system for students who want to make a career in sports.

Camp Details & Venue

Students can come from any part of the state. Those who have already attended the camp can also come again.
Timing: Report at the camp venue at 9 am and will get height relaxation if performance is outstanding (except basketball & volleyball).

Tuesday (April 15):
Bengaluru (Kanteerava Stadium) – Athletics, Basketball, Volleyball, Fencing, Archery
Dharwad (District Dtadium) – Athletics, Basketball, Volleyball, Archery, Cycling, Wrestling, Kabaddi.

Thursday (April 17):
Kalaburagi (District Stadium) – Athletics, Volleyball
Udupi (District Stadium) – Athletics, Basketball, Volleyball, Kabaddi
Bidar (District Stadium) – Cycling
Ballari (Football Stadium) – Football
Gadag (District Stadium) – Hockey
Football:
Hassan (District Stadium) – Tuesday
Gymnastics:
Tumakuru (District Stadium) – Tuesday
Judo Selection Camp:
Belagavi (District Stadium) – April 15
Chikkamagaluru (District Stadium) – April 17

This is a golden opportunity for students who are talented in sports and want to train in a professional environment. Parents and coaches should encourage their students to attend the camps at that time.
