SRH Full Squad, IPL 2025: Comprehensive List of Players Acquired by Sunrisers Hyderabad
IPL 2025: SRH Full Squad:
SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) will be represented by Mohammed Shami in IPL 2025 as the franchise won him for Rs 10 crore during the mega auction on Sunday. KKR and CSK went tussling for the Indian pacer with a competitive bidding battle but SRH outbid them with an unmatchable offer when neither of the teams could accept it. Gujarat Titans (GT) did not use their Right to Match (RTM) card for Shami as he is going to make a comeback in cricket after a prolonged knee injury.
Prior to the IPL 2025 auction, SRH had a huge spend worth a whopping Rs 24 crore to purchase South African star Heinrich Klaasen. Apart from Klaasen, the 2016 IPL winner retained strong Australian players such as Travis Head and Pat Cummins for large amounts. For the Indian talent pool, SRH emphasized on younger players and retained both Abhishek Sharma and Nitish Reddy in their retention list.
