SRH Innings:
PowerPlay: Starc ruined the top-order
Score: 58/4 (Runs-rate: 9.67, 4s/6s: 7/1)
Pat Cummins won the toss and decided to bat, but his decision was proved wrong by Mitchell Stac. Starc gave out Ishan Kishan, Nitish Reddy and Travis Head in the first 5 overs. Abhishek Sharma got run out due to a misunderstanding. SRH collapsed in the PowerPlay, and if Abishek Porel had missed an easy catch, there could have been more damage.

Score: 82/3 (Run rate: 9.11, 4s/6s: 4/6)
Aniket Verma attacked DC’s spinners swiftly. First he hit a six and a four in one over to Vipraj Nigam, then hit two back to back sixes to Axar Patel. Heinrich Klassen also hit a big six against Kuldeep Yadav. But as soon as SRH crossed 100, DC’s bowlers bowled tight. Kuldeep and Axar Patel’s three overs gave away only 8 runs. During this time Aniket Verma completed his first IPL fifty and played another big over against Axar Patel.
