Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the final result of Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) 2024. Along with the result, the commission has also released category and post-wise cut-off marks. Candidates can check these details on ssc.gov.in or by using the links given below.

SSC CGL Final Result 2024:key Details

Total vacancies: 18,174
Provisional Selection: The commission has recommended 18,174 candidates as per their merit and post preference.

Next Step: Now the selected candidates will have to appear for the document verification round, which will be conducted by the respective user departments.

SSC CGL 2024 Exam Timeline

Tier 1 Result: Was announced on 5 December 2024.

Tier 2 Exam: Was conducted on 18,19,20 and 31 January 2024 in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

SSC CGL Result 2024: Tie Breaking Rule

If two or more candidates have the same marks, then SSC has followed this order to decide the merit:

1 Marks of Paper 2 (if applicable) for Junior statistical officer (JSO) and Statistical Investigator Gr. II (SI).

2 Marks of Paper 1, Section 1 of Tier 2 exam.

3 Date of Birth (preference to older candidate).

4 Alphabetical order of candidates’ names.

Important Points

Withheld Results: Final results of 1,267 candidates have been withheld.

Rejected/Debarred/Cancelled: Results of 253 candidates have been rejected/debarred/cancelled.

Document Verification: Document verification and appointment formalities of selected candidates will be done by the allocated departments.

No Reserve List: SSC has not released any reserve list or waiting list. Unfilled vacancies will be carried forward to the next year(s).

Document Verification: Contact your allocated department for document verification.

Within 6 Months: If the selected candidate does not receive any communication within 6 months, he should immediately contact the department.
