“Team India Expected to Make 2 Changes: Predicted Lineup for 2nd T20I Against South Africa”
India is set to face South Africa in the second T20I on Sunday, November 10, at St. George’s Park in Gqeberha. After a strong start with a 61-run victory in the series opener in Durban, India will look to carry that momentum forward. However, only Sanju Samson and Tilak Varma made significant contributions with the bat, while others struggled. Abhishek Sharma, who scored a century in his second T20I against Zimbabwe, has since been unable to deliver a big score, and he’ll be keen to make an impact in this match.
Rinku Singh, too, will be under the spotlight as he aims for consistency. Despite an ideal setup in the previous game to make a difference in the death overs, he couldn’t capitalize. Hardik Pandya, after an underwhelming performance in Durban, will also look to bounce back with both bat and ball to strengthen India’s lineup.
For the second T20I, India may bring in KKR’s all-rounder Ramandeep Singh in place of Axar Patel. With spinners Varun Chakravarthy and Ravi Bishnoi already performing well, both taking three wickets each in the first game, Ramandeep’s addition could add depth to India’s batting lineup and provide another bowling option.
Another interesting possibility is giving Yash Dayal or Vijaykumar Vyshak a chance to debut in the second T20I. Both RCB players are making their first appearance in the national squad. Dayal, a left-arm pacer who impressed in the 2024 IPL season, could be considered as a like-for-like substitute for Arshdeep Singh if India’s management decides to rest the star pacer.
India’s probable XI for the 2nd T20I: Sanju Samson (WK), Abhishek Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav (C), Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya, Rinku Singh, Ramandeep Singh, Ravi Bishnoi, Varun Chakravarthy, Avesh Khan, Arshdeep Singh.
