Terrible heat in Jharkhand, record temperature in Delhi too|

Jharkhand is currently facing terrible heat. According to officials, the temperature in 7 districts of the state has crossed 40 degrees Celsius. Chaibasa in West Singhbhum recorded the highest temperature of 41 degrees Celsius, which is 7.6 degrees above normal. Daltonganj recorded 40.7 degrees Celsius, Bokaro Thermal recorded 40.1 degrees Celsius and Jamshedpur recorded 40 degrees Celsius. Ranchi, which is the state capital, also recorded a temperature of 37 degrees, which is 6.1 degrees above normal. Garhwa, Godda and Pakur also have temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius.
India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow heatwave alert for Seraikela Kharswan, East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Dhanbad and Bokaro on March 16. However, the weather is expected to improve soon. According to Abhishek Anand, Deputy Director of Ranchi Meteorological Centre, “There is a possibility of change in weather from March 19. There may be light rain on March 19 and 20 and light to moderate rain on March 21 and 22, which is due to moisture from the Bay of Bengal and western disturbance.”
Authorities have advised people to avoid outdoor work between 12 PM and 3 PM during this heatwave.

Heat breaks records in Delhi too
Similarly, Delhi is experiencing hotter than normal temperatures at this time. The maximum temperature on Saturday was 33 degrees Celsius, which is 4.1 degrees above the seasonal average. The minimum temperature was 18.7 degrees Celsius and the humidity ranged between 62% and 50%. On Friday, Delhi witnessed its hottest day of the year so far, when the temperature reached 36.2 degrees Celsius, which is 7.3 degrees above normal.
IMD has predicted generally cloudy weather and light rain or thunderstorms for Sunday, which may provide some relief from the heat.
Both Jharkhand and Delhi are facing severe heat, but some relief is expected soon with rain. People should be careful and adopt measures to avoid the heat.
