Vaibhav Suryavanshi: 14-year-old Wonder Kid, Youngest T20 Centurion in IPL 2025|

14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi of Rajasthan Royals (RR) created history in IPL 2025. In his third match against Gujarat Titans (GT), Vaibhav scored a century in just 35 balls and made a record of becoming the youngest centurion in men’s T20 cricket.
This was also the second fastest hundred in IPL, just behind Chris Gayle’s 30-ball century in 2013. Vaibhav completed his century with a tremendous six, hitting a pull shot over midwicket in Rashid Khan’s over. Rashik Khan was the stand-in captain of GT in this match, when Shubman Gill was sub-out.
Before that, Vaibhav scored 30 runs in one over of Afghanistan’s all-rounder Karim Janat by hitting 6,4,6,4,4,6. Janat was making his IPL debut. 94 out of Vaibhav’s 101 runs came through boundaries, which shows his explosive style of attacking. He hit 11 sixes – an Indian player holds the record of hitting most sixes in an innings.
