Five sixes out of the nine balls that bowler Yash Dayal was allowed to deliver in the match catapulted Rinku to fame, and Kolkata Knight Riders will retain him for a whopping ₹13 crore. Further reports and social media posts have come forward suggesting that Rinku had bought a luxurious bungalow in The Golden Estate, Ozone City, Aligarh. The house is said to be around 500 square yards in size and costs ₹3.5 crore.
Indeed, even Rinku himself recently gave a tour of his own luxurious new home, boasting about having a rooftop bar, a private pool, and special display space for the bat with which he hit those famous five sixes.
A son of a very humble background, from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, Rinku Singh was actually struggling to survive in his early days due to the financial constraint he faced, but he never lost faith and made use of all cricketing skills he had to achieve this great feat of his life by moving up in the ranks with terrific power-hitting and finishing skills to be one of the key players for KKR.
He was most remembered for his scintillating knock in the 2023 IPL season after which he hit five consecutive sixes in a very crucial match against Gujarat Titans. He thus earned recognition and admiration from all quarters. His remarkable rise led him to renew his contract recently for a hefty sum. Therefore, he bought his dream home in Aligarh as a testament to his success and gratitude for roots.

Among the Indian players, 10 Indian uncapped talents-Abhishek Porel, Rahul Tewatia, Shahrukh Khan, Ramandeep Singh, Harshit Rana, Mohsin Khan, Ayush Badoni, Shashank Singh, Prabhsimran Singh, and Yash Dayal-will be retained.
