Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanshree Verma’s Divorce Final, Alimony Rs 4.75 Crore!|

India’s famous leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife Dhanshree Verma’s divorce is final. Both had filed a joint plea for divorce on the basis of mutual consent, and on 20 March, Mumbai’s Bandra Family Court granted them divorce. Chahal wore a customised T-shirt during the court hearing, which had written: “Be Your Own Sugar Daddy.” This phrase represents financial independence.
Divorce Settlement Details
Chahal will have to pay an alimony of Rs 4.75 crore.
He had already paid Rs 2.37 crore.
The remaining amount will be paid after getting the divorce decree.
Both of them filed a divorce plea with mutual consent in February 2024.
The family court had earlier refused to waive the 6-month cooling off period, as the alimony payment was not completed.
Later, Chahal and Dhanshree filed a joint plea in the Bombay High Court, after which the cooling off period was waived and the divorce was finalized.

Chahal will now continue his IPL career with Punjab Kings.
Punjab bought him in the auction for Rs 18 crore.
Punjab Kings’ first match will be against Gujarat Titans on 25 March.
Chahal will form a strong team with Shreyas Iyer and Coach Ricky Ponting.
